Question 1

What is an eSIM?

Accepted Answer

An eSIM is a digital SIM built into your phone. Instead of a plastic card, you install a data plan by scanning a QR code, no store visit, no waiting.

Question 2

Will my phone work with AriKap.am?

Accepted Answer

Most phones from 2019 onward support eSIM, including iPhone XS and later, Google Pixel 3 and later, and recent Samsung Galaxy devices. Your phone also needs to be carrier-unlocked.

Question 3

How do I install my eSIM?

Accepted Answer

Scan the QR code from your confirmation email or the My packages screen with your phone's camera, then follow the on-screen prompts to add the plan. Our install guide walks through every step for iPhone and Android.

Question 4

When should I install my eSIM?

Accepted Answer

Buy any time and install before you fly. Your plan's validity only starts counting once the eSIM connects to a network at your destination.

Question 5

My eSIM says "No service". What now?

Accepted Answer

Make sure data roaming is turned on for the eSIM line and that it's set as your data line, not your primary SIM. It can take a minute or two to attach to a local network after landing. Still stuck? Message us and we'll check your line.

Question 6

Can I keep my normal phone number?

Accepted Answer

Yes. Your AriKap.am data eSIM runs alongside your primary SIM, so you keep your own number for calls and texts while using AriKap.am for data.

Question 7

What happens if I run out of data?

Accepted Answer

Top up in seconds from the My packages screen, the new data is added to your existing plan instantly, with no reinstall needed.

Question 8

Can I get a refund?

Accepted Answer

Yes, in specific cases such as a technical issue or a duplicate purchase. See our refund policy page for the full eligibility rules and how to request one.
