Terms of Service
1. Agreement to terms
By purchasing or using an AriKap.am eSIM you agree to these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, please do not use our service. These terms apply to every plan bought through our website or app.
2. Eligibility & devices
AriKap.am eSIMs require an eSIM-compatible, carrier-unlocked device. It is your responsibility to confirm your device supports eSIM before purchase. We cannot refund plans that fail to activate due to an incompatible or locked device.
3. Plans & validity
Each plan includes a set data allowance and validity period. Validity begins when the eSIM first connects to a network in the destination region. Unused data does not roll over and expires at the end of the validity period.
4. Payment
Prices can be displayed in Armenian drams (AMD) or US dollars (USD); USD amounts are indicative and all payments are charged in AMD at checkout. AriKap.am does not store your full payment details; transactions are handled by our PCI-compliant payment partners.
5. AriKap.am Coins
AriKap.am Coins are credit in your AriKap.am account. 1 coin is worth ֏1. You can earn coins (welcome bonus, invites, stories and 4% cashback) or buy them by card in amounts of ֏1,000, ֏3,000, ֏5,000, ֏10,000, ֏20,000 or ֏30,000. Buying coins also earns cashback. Coins never expire. Coins you buy are non-refundable. Coins cannot be exchanged for cash or moved to another account. You can spend coins on pay as you go data, or on part of an eSIM at checkout. At least ֏100 of every eSIM is paid by card.
6. Pay as you go
Pay as you go runs on a separate AriKap.am eSIM. Activating it is free once you have at least 1,000 coins. We charge your coins 100 MB at a time, at the price in coins per MB listed for the country you are in when that 100 MB starts. Prices per country are on the Pay as you go page; if a price changes, the new price applies from your next 100 MB. We then compare each charge with your real use in each country, as reported by our network partner. If you used less, or used it somewhere cheaper, the difference comes back as coins. If some of it was used somewhere pricier, we charge the difference. If your coins do not cover the next 100 MB, you still get it: your balance shows 0 coins and what you owe is taken from your next top-up or the next coins you receive, and no more data is added while you owe anything. You can pause at any time; pausing stops data right away and returns the unused part of the current 100 MB as coins. Pay as you go also works in Armenia, at the Armenia price, so at home switch your phone’s data back to your usual SIM. It works on the networks we choose in each country, and coverage is not guaranteed everywhere.
7. Refunds
You can request a full refund within 30 days of purchase if you have not installed the eSIM, or at any point during your trip if the eSIM fails to connect in your destination. Used data, expired plans, and incompatible or carrier-locked devices are not refundable. See our Refund Policy for the full details. Bought coins and pay as you go data are not refundable.
8. Acceptable use
Data plans are for personal use. Reselling, tethering abuse, or use that violates local laws or network fair-use policies may result in suspension without refund.
9. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms from time to time. Continued use of AriKap.am after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the revised terms.
